Budget Ledger Lite is developed and published by Biscuits Technology LLC. This policy applies to the Budget Ledger Lite mobile application available on the Google Play Store.
We do not collect, transmit, or have any access to the following:
Budget Ledger Lite does not require an account, login, or internet connection to function.
All app data — transactions, categories, accounts, recurring transactions, your app-lock PIN, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device using the operating system's local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to back it up.
Budget Ledger Lite lets you save and restore your data as a file. When you tap "Save Backup File," the app asks you to choose a folder and writes a single backup file (a .json file) to that location. When you tap "Restore from File," you select a backup file and the app reads it back in.
The app accesses your device's file storage only during these actions that you start yourself, and only the specific folder or file you choose. We never browse, scan, or upload your files, and the backup file stays wherever you put it.
Budget Ledger Lite can send you a low-balance alert — a notification when an account's balance drops below a threshold you set. These notifications are generated entirely on your device; nothing is transmitted to us or anyone else. The app requests notification permission only for this feature, and you can revoke it at any time in your device settings.
You can optionally protect the app with a PIN and with fingerprint or face unlock. Biometric authentication is handled entirely by your device's operating system — the app never sees or stores your fingerprint or face data. Your PIN is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted.
If you contact us through the in-app support or bug-report feature, the app opens your device's native email application with a message pre-filled. That message may include the app version, the screen you were on, and a short list of recent in-app action names (such as "opened settings") to help us diagnose problems — it does not include your transactions, balances, or any financial data. We receive only the message you choose to send and use it solely to respond to you.

Budget Ledger Lite displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. As part of serving ads, Google may collect device identifiers and usage signals in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We have no access to this data and do not sell user data to advertisers directly.
Ads are displayed as non-intrusive banners at the bottom of the screen only. We do not display full-screen or interstitial ads.
