By downloading or using Budget Ledger (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of the App.
The App is provided by Biscuits Technology LLC ("we," "us," or "our").
Budget Ledger is a personal budgeting and expense tracking tool. It allows you to log transactions, set up recurring transactions, track running balances across multiple accounts, and review your activity on a calendar — all stored locally on your device. The App does not provide financial advice, investment guidance, tax advice, or any professional financial services.
The information displayed in Budget Ledger — including balances, projections, and summaries — is based entirely on the data you enter. It is provided for personal organizational purposes only.
Budget Ledger is not a substitute for professional financial, accounting, or legal advice. We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on information shown in the App. Always consult a qualified professional for significant financial matters.
All data you enter into Budget Ledger is stored locally on your device and belongs entirely to you. We do not have access to it. You are solely responsible for:

Budget Ledger, including its name, design, code, and visual identity, is the property of Biscuits Technology LLC. All rights are reserved. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the App or its content without our written permission.
Budget Ledger is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Biscuits Technology LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, financial loss, or loss of profits — arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any).
The App is built using Expo and React Native and includes Google AdMob for banner advertising. These third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
We may update, modify, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time without notice. We are not obligated to provide updates, maintain backwards compatibility, or keep the App available indefinitely.
We reserve the right to restrict access to the App if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms. Because the App is fully local, such restriction would apply to future versions or updates only.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Biscuits Technology LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be reflected by changing the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
